Worship

Peace Lutheran is the "church on the hill" in your neighborhood of Beaver Dam.  We have been serving Beaver Dam and local communities since 1966.

Divine Service is on each Sunday at 9:00 am and Thursday at 7:00 pm.  Sunday School begins after the service for all ages.  Adult Bible Study is also available at the same time.  We have bibles to borrow for the classes.  Come and join us!

Peace Lutheran Church does not have a dress code.  You will see people wearing suits to jeans. There will be someone to greet you when you enter the building. If you have any questions, please ask the greeter.

Children of all ages are welcome at worship services.  We have a nursery available and special seating for families. There are activity bags for the children available.  Please ask the ushers for assistance.

You can sit anywhere you feel comfortable.  The order of Divine Service is printed in the bulletin. Readings will be on the bulletin given to you. The hymnal is also used for the service, and there is one located near your seat.  The pastor will instruct all worship participants to stand or sit at different times, if you are able.  We ask that you fill out the friendship register during service, but it is not required.

Sunday worship services include the Holy Communion (Lord’s Supper).  Because those who eat and drink our Lord’s body and blood unworthily do so to their great harm, and because Holy Communion is a confession of faith which is confessed at this altar, any who are not yet instructed, who are in doubt, or who hold a confession differing from that of Peace Lutheran Church and the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod (LCMS), and yet desire to receive the sacrament, are asked to first speak with the pastor.  Peace has several guests, so it will not be odd for you to remain in your seat during the Holy Communion.

Besides worship services, we have social opportunities with our groups for men, women and children, married or single, and all ages.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask the greeter, or you may contact the church office before you visit at 920-887-1272 or peacelutheran@bdpeacelutheran.org. Come and visit us and see what we are all about.
